1. Mac Studio Fix Fluid foundation ($27)
-I bought this earlier this month, and I know I'm late to try it, but I'd heard so many stories about Mac foundations either feeling too heavy or breaking people out, and so I'd always been hesitant. My skin is pretty sensitive and also very acne prone, and of course I don't want to make it worse, but I'd always been curious about Studio Fix Fluid and Studio Sculpt, as they're both very widely talked about. I decided to pick up Fix Fluid since I have very oily skin, and this one is catered more towards that. I was matched to the shade NC20 and honestly, it's a bit dark. I don't think it's noticeable enough for other people to tell when looking at me, but when I look at myself in a mirror I can tell and it does bother me a bit, but it's nothing too terrible, and I'll just make a mental note to get it in NC15 next time. I really like this foundation, the formulation is on the thicker side, which I love, but the coverage is actually not as much as I expected. I love full coverage foundations, and honestly, I would deem this foundation medium at best. I don't need to blot or touch up until around 3 hours, which is about average for me with foundations, and it's really just my nose/t-zone that really needs the touch up. I haven't broken out from wearing it yet, which is always a plus. I will say that due to the thick formulation of this foundation, it can be a bit troubling to pour out of the bottle, but you can get a pump from Mac to fix that. I like this foundation for day to day wear, and will be probably be wearing it as such for the next few months. :)

2. Urban Decay Naked Basics palette ($27)
-I've had this palette since the week/month it came out, and I actually own two, as it is well priced, and contains staple colors that of fantastic quality. I have one that I keep and carry around in my makeup bag and one that stays at home. I use Naked2 all over my lids on a day to day basis with Faint in the crease, and I adore the way it looks. I use Foxy as an everyday brow highlight as well, and I love that it's matte. This month, I also decided to change up how I fill in my brows, which I'd never done before. From the time I started filling in my brows, up until a couple weeks ago, I'd been using Mac's Copperplate eyeshadow, which I still love for my brows, as it is a brown toned grey, and looks so natural with my Asian skin tone and hair. I never thought I'd be able to use anything else, since browns that I've tried before have all looked so fake and idiotic on me, but I was running out of Copperplate, so I decided to try Faint from the Basics palette, and wow I was so impressed. It actually looks really natural as well, and I think I actually (dare I say it) like it more than Copperplate! It actually makes little difference in comparison to Copperplate in how my brows look, which is surprising since they're two completely difference colors, but I like Faint a lot more since it's much more pigmented and thus requires less product and time/effort to fill in my brows. I feel like my brows actually look nicer/neater when I use Faint!
3. Nyx Matte Lipstick in Natural ($5.99)
-I bought this last month because I was on a mauve lipstick kick. I went to Ulta with a friend, and Nyx was having a buy 1 get 1 half off deal, and so I actually picked up two of these, and I'm so glad I did because this has been my go to day to day color every day since I got it! The formula feels really light and airy on the lips, and it can be applied pretty heavily without feeling cakey. At first, I thought the color was too pink for me, but after wearing it for a few days straight, it really grew on me, and it really does look natural, as the name would suggest. Although it is a matte lipstick, it doesn't cling to any dry patches or areas on my lips, as I've worn it multiple times on slightly chapped lips (I know, scold me later). The packaging isn't anything special, it doesn't feel sleek or expensive, but the product itself was $6, so really I'm not complaining, hahah
4. Wet n Wild Mega Liner in Black ($2.99)
-I had previously been using Maybelline's Line Stiletto, which I like, but don't love. I wear winged liner on a daily basis, and Maybelline's felt tip applicator made it easy to draw the cat eye, but the product itself isn't very pigmented, and flakes, cracks, and runs easily. I was with my friend at Wal-Mart when I saw the Wet n Wild one, and it was cheap, and I'd heard raving reviews on it, so I figured hey, why not give it shot. My biggest concern was the ease and efficiency I'd have with drawing my wing, since this liner is a brush tip, but I've found that it's actually really easy, since the brush is long and thin. The product itself is incredibly pigmented, which I love, but can be a bit difficult to take off, if you were to make a mistake, so be wary of that. It stays all day, which is fantastic, and it dries to a matte finish, rather than one with a sheen, like the Maybelline. I do like the matte finish, but sometimes I feel it's a bit boring. It's easier to make a liner with a sheen matte, by simply tapping some shadow or translucent powder over it, but for $2.99, I can't complain. I'm eager to try out other colors from this line, as well!
